🚀 Exciting New Features in Version 1.0.42
In this update, Dockhand introduces several new capabilities that make operations easier and more secure. These include indentation guides in the editor for compose/YAML files, making code writing easier and more readable; caddy-docker-proxy label support; and importantly, the ability to directly upload Docker images as .tar files via the web UI, which is highly beneficial for air-gapped hosts. Furthermore, it now supports pulling Secrets from external providers such as 1Password, HashiCorp Vault, Infisical, and Doppler to enhance stack management security.
🛠️ Bug Fixes and Performance Improvements
The development team has resolved several user-reported issues. For instance, updating compose files via API now saves files correctly; an MFA settings page issue that might clear existing secrets has been fixed; failed container updates on Podman with CPU limits or userns_mode: keep-id settings have been resolved; and private image pulling from private registries now works correctly according to the DOCKER_CONFIG. Additionally, grouped container log display has been improved to be chronological, and incorrect update notifications for multi-arch images have been fixed.
For NAS users, whether on Synology, UGREEN, or Asustor, who need a modern Docker management tool with an easy-to-use UI and comprehensive functions, Dockhand is an extremely compelling option.
