Dockhand, a rapidly rising Docker management platform, has released a new update, version 1.0.38, introducing new features and fixing numerous important bugs for NAS users, whether on Synology, UGREEN, or Asustor, making container management easier and more efficient.
For those who are not yet familiar, Dockhand is a modern Docker management tool that comes with an easy-to-use web interface. It is suitable for everything from home labs and small businesses to enterprise levels, making it easier to manage containers, deploy stacks, and monitor status all from a single screen. It has a full range of functions, including real-time container management (Start/Stop/Restart), web terminal, file editing, GitOps Auto-Sync, as well as OIDC/SSO and MFA systems.

The most important highlight in this version is the addition of the Container and Stacks backup feature, which, although still in beta, is a feature requested by many users. Additionally, it makes it more convenient for Git Stack users to click and view Compose YAML files and the Dependency Graph immediately in read-only mode. There is also the addition of the DNS_RESULT_ORDER=verbatim option to enable IPv6 fallback for hosts that have IPv4 connectivity issues.
🛠️ Fix defects and security vulnerabilities
This update focuses on addressing issues reported by users in large numbers, such as the Dashboard CPU problem that shows usage exceeding 100% on heavily loaded Hosts, the alert for failed Container updates that does not display, authentication with Private Repos using Tokens without a Username, and improvements to allow Volume deletion (Volume prune) to correctly remove Named Unused Volumes. Additionally, there are important security updates, including upgrading docker-compose to version 5.3.1-r1 to fix the CVE-2026-42505 vulnerability and upgrading Go to version 1.25.12 to patch 4 vulnerabilities in the standard Library.
