Warranty Policy
SyncTech Solution Co., Ltd. is committed to providing high-quality products and professional after-sales support. All products supplied by the Company are genuine products obtained from manufacturers, authorized distributors, or officially appointed sales channels.
Warranty coverage, warranty period, and service conditions may vary depending on the product type, model, manufacturer, distributor, and the terms specified in the quotation, purchase order, tax invoice, warranty certificate, service agreement, or other applicable sales documents.
1. Warranty Period
The warranty period commences from the purchase date, tax invoice date, delivery date, product registration date, or any other date specified by the manufacturer or authorized distributor. Depending on the product, the warranty period may be one (1) year, three (3) years, five (5) years, or another period specified in the applicable sales documentation or manufacturer's warranty policy.
For Software Licenses, Subscriptions, Cloud Services, Maintenance Services, and other recurring service agreements, the warranty or service coverage shall remain valid only for the period specified in the applicable license, subscription, or service contract.
2. Types of Warranty Service
Warranty services may be provided under one or more of the following service models, subject to the manufacturer's or authorized distributor's warranty terms.
- Manufacturer Warranty
- Authorized Service Center Warranty
- Carry-In Warranty
- Pickup and Return Service
- On-Site Warranty Service
- Advance Replacement or Replacement Service
Customers are advised to verify the applicable warranty type before placing an order, as warranty coverage and service conditions may differ between brands, models, product categories, and optional service packages.
3. Warranty Coverage
The warranty covers manufacturing defects, material defects, or hardware malfunctions occurring under normal operating conditions and in accordance with the manufacturer's installation, operation, and maintenance instructions.
Corrective actions, including repair, replacement of defective components, replacement with refurbished equipment, replacement with an equivalent product, or any other appropriate remedy, shall be determined solely by the manufacturer, authorized distributor, or authorized service center following technical inspection.
The Company cannot guarantee that every defective product will be replaced with a brand-new unit, as the final warranty resolution remains subject to the manufacturer's warranty policy.
4. Warranty Exclusions
The warranty shall be void or shall not apply under any of the following circumstances.
- Damage resulting from misuse, improper operation, failure to follow the user manual, or operation beyond the manufacturer's specified limits.
- Damage caused by accidental dropping, impact, crushing, bending, breakage, vibration, or improper transportation.
- Damage resulting from water, moisture, dust, chemicals, fire, lightning, electrical surges, power fluctuations, short circuits, unstable electrical systems, or non-standard power supplies.
- Damage caused by natural disasters, force majeure events, animals, insects, pests, or other external environmental factors.
- Unauthorized disassembly, modification, repair, firmware alteration, or replacement of components by any unauthorized person or service provider.
- Missing, altered, removed, damaged, or unreadable Serial Numbers, Service Tags, product labels, warranty stickers, or manufacturer identification labels.
- Damage caused by software failures, viruses, malware, ransomware, incorrect configuration, unsupported firmware, incompatible hardware, or unsupported operating environments.
- Normal wear and tear of consumable items such as batteries, power adapters, cables, connectors, lamps, cooling fans, filters, printheads, or similar consumable components, unless otherwise covered by the manufacturer.
- Loss, theft, vandalism, intentional damage, or damage caused by third parties.
- Damage resulting from the use of non-approved accessories, adapters, power supplies, network cables, peripheral devices, software, or third-party components.
5. Warranty Claim Procedure
Customers requesting warranty service should contact the Company and provide sufficient information to facilitate the warranty assessment process.
- Quotation number, Purchase Order, Tax Invoice, or Proof of Purchase.
- Product name, model, Serial Number, or Service Tag.
- A detailed description of the fault or reported issue.
- Photographs and/or videos clearly showing the product condition and reported symptoms.
- Customer contact information together with the product installation or operating location.
The Company may request additional information or ask the customer to perform basic troubleshooting procedures before accepting the product for warranty inspection. This process assists in determining whether the reported issue is related to hardware, software, system configuration, network infrastructure, electrical supply, or the operating environment.
6. Returning Products for Inspection
Customers must obtain confirmation or a service reference number from the Company before returning any product for warranty inspection or repair.
Products should be securely packaged and include all components requested by the service team, such as power adapters, power supplies, network cables, mounting accessories, or any other equipment required for proper diagnosis.
The Company shall not be responsible for any additional damage resulting from inadequate packaging or transportation arranged independently by the customer.
7. Claim and Transportation Costs
Unless otherwise specified in the applicable quotation, service agreement, or manufacturer's warranty terms, all transportation costs associated with sending products to and from the Company, manufacturer, authorized distributor, or service center shall be the responsibility of the customer.
If inspection determines that the reported issue is not covered under the applicable warranty, or if no defect is found, the Company, manufacturer, authorized distributor, or service center may charge inspection fees, labor costs, replacement parts, transportation expenses, travel expenses, or other applicable service charges. The customer will be notified of any chargeable service and must provide approval before any work is performed.
8. Service Turnaround Time
The time required for product inspection, repair, component replacement, or product replacement depends on several factors, including the product type, nature of the reported issue, availability of replacement parts, manufacturer procedures, authorized service center workload, distributor processing time, customs clearance (if applicable), and transportation arrangements.
Any estimated completion date provided by the Company is for reference only and does not constitute a guarantee. Service times may be extended due to circumstances beyond the Company's reasonable control, including delays in obtaining replacement parts, international shipping, manufacturer approval processes, additional testing requirements, or force majeure events.
9. Temporary Replacement Equipment
The Company is under no obligation to provide temporary replacement or loan equipment while a product is being inspected or repaired unless such service is expressly included in the applicable quotation, maintenance agreement, service contract, warranty package, or other written agreement.
Where loan equipment is available, it will be provided solely at the Company's discretion and subject to product availability. Replacement equipment may differ in model, specifications, appearance, or features from the customer's original equipment, provided that it reasonably supports the customer's essential operational requirements.
10. Data Backup Before Service
Customers are solely responsible for creating and maintaining complete backups of all data before submitting any equipment for inspection, repair, replacement, or warranty service.
Neither SyncTech Solution Co., Ltd., the manufacturer, authorized distributor, nor any authorized service center shall be liable for any loss, corruption, deletion, disclosure, inaccessibility, or inability to recover data, software, operating systems, configurations, licenses, user accounts, passwords, or any other information stored on the product.
During inspection or repair, products may be reset to factory settings, reformatted, have storage media replaced, firmware updated, components replaced, or operating systems reinstalled where necessary. Customers are strongly advised to remove confidential, proprietary, or personal information before submitting any product for service whenever reasonably practicable.
11. Warranty for Hard Drives and Storage Devices
Warranty coverage for Hard Disk Drives (HDD), Solid State Drives (SSD), NAS systems, storage arrays, storage appliances, memory devices, and all other storage media applies solely to the physical hardware in accordance with the manufacturer's warranty policy.
The warranty does not cover any data stored on the device. The Company makes no representation or warranty regarding the recoverability of lost or corrupted data.
Data recovery services are not included as part of the standard warranty and, where available, will be quoted, approved, and provided as a separate professional service.
12. Software and Digital Service Warranty
Software Licenses, Software Subscriptions, Cloud Services, Electronic Software Delivery (ESD), Product Keys, Digital Licenses, SaaS subscriptions, and other digital entitlements are governed by the applicable licensing terms, activation policies, support conditions, and service agreements established by the software publisher or service provider.
Issues arising from incorrect registration information, Tenant ID, Domain Name, Email Address, User Account, Customer Configuration, licensing assignment, unsupported environments, or customer-side administrative errors may not be covered under warranty or technical support.
Unless expressly permitted by the software publisher or service provider, digital licenses, subscriptions, activation keys, and electronic software products that have been issued, activated, assigned, or registered are generally non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be cancelled or exchanged.
13. Installation and Service Warranty
Installation, implementation, system configuration, migration, consulting, and technical services performed by SyncTech Solution Co., Ltd. are warranted only for the specific scope of work carried out by the Company and only for the warranty period stated in the applicable quotation, project proposal, service agreement, maintenance contract, statement of work, or project acceptance document.
The service warranty does not cover issues arising from modifications performed by the customer or third parties, software or firmware updates released after project completion, changes to manufacturer policies, internet service provider outages, electrical failures, environmental conditions, customer infrastructure, third-party equipment, or any systems outside the Company's agreed scope of work.
14. Collection of Serviced Products
Upon completion of inspection, repair, or replacement, the Company will notify the customer to collect the product or arrange for return shipment using the agreed delivery method.
Customers are requested to collect their products within the period specified in the Company's notification. Where products remain uncollected beyond the specified period, the Company reserves the right to charge reasonable storage, handling, transportation, or administrative fees where applicable.
If the customer cannot be contacted or fails to collect the product within a reasonable period, the Company reserves the right to take appropriate action in accordance with applicable law, the Company's internal procedures, and any applicable service agreement.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Company's obligations under this Warranty Policy are limited to coordinating inspection, repair, replacement of defective components, or replacement of eligible products in accordance with the manufacturer's warranty terms and the applicable sales or service agreement.
Except where liability cannot legally be excluded, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, profit, business opportunities, goodwill, productivity, business interruption, operational downtime, data loss, loss of use, or any other commercial or economic loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, the product or service.
Nothing in this Warranty Policy shall exclude or limit any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
16. Policy Updates
The Company reserves the right to modify, amend, update, or replace this Warranty Policy at any time without prior notice. The most recent version published on the Company's official website shall supersede all previous versions and become immediately effective upon publication.
Where any provision of this Warranty Policy conflicts with the terms specified in a quotation, purchase order, tax invoice, service agreement, maintenance contract, warranty certificate, manufacturer's warranty policy, or any other product-specific agreement, the terms contained in the applicable product or service documentation shall prevail.
